Synchronous professional development (PD) refers to live, real-time training sessions where participants and facilitators interact simultaneously. Unlike asynchronous PD, which allows for self-paced learning, synchronous PD fosters immediate engagement, collaboration, and discussion, enabling participants to ask questions, share insights, and receive real-time feedback.
